The Ethiopian Electric Power
Corporation (EEPCo) has planned to purchase
distribution materials in 2000 Ethiopian Budget year
in various currencies for Urban Distribution
Rehabilitation and Expansion Project.

The Ethiopian Electric Power
Corporation (EEPCo) now invites all interested and
eligible bidders for the supply of the followings.
Lot 1 - 15
kV Underground XLPE Cables & Accessories
Lot 2 - 15 kV Overhead Line
AAAC Conductors XLPE Covered,
Insulators &
Accessories
Lot 3 – 15 kV Compact
Substations, Transformers and Switchgears.
Lot 4 – Low Voltage Aerial Bundled
Cables (ABC) and Accessories

Interested eligible Bidders may obtain

Corporation and inspect the bidding documents at the

The bid document shall be available
from
March 4, 2008
on wards against payment receipt of non-refundable fee
of ETH Birr 1,000.00
from the procurement division.

All bids must be accompanied by bid
security as specified in the Bid Data Sheet in the
currency of the bid or in another freely convertible
currency or equivalent amount in Birr and must be
delivered to the address above at or before 10:00 AM
hours (local time-Addis Ababa) on May
5, 2008. Late bids will be
rejected.
- The Bidders
must submit complete offer for all the sub-items under
the Lot. Incomplete offer will result in rejection of
the offer.

Bids will be opened on
May 5, 2008 2:00 PM
local time in the presence of the bidders or their
representatives who choose to attend the bid opening
to be held at Mexico square EEPCo's Club, Addis Ababa,
Ethiopia.

The Ethiopian Electric power
Corporation reserves the right to reject any or all
bids.
